About Me

I feel lucky that my career trajectory began during the heyday of the glossy magazine. My first six years in publishing were spent at Glamour, where I worked in the copy editing and fact-checking departments. From there, I went on to hold positions at Good Housekeeping (associate beauty editor), Fitness (senior lifestyle editor), and Shape (executive editor).

Being a freelancer has allowed me to contribute to a variety of print and digital publications and platforms and explore different types of content, from nutrition and mental health to fashion and home design. Over the years, my work has appeared in numerous magazines and websites, including Health, Self, HGTV Magazine, Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, InStyle, Real Simple, New York Weddings, Prevention, HealthCentral, Oprah Daily, and refinery29. In addition, I've edited a handful of special interest publications (SIPs), ranging in subject matter from hairstyling trends and how-tos to the wellbeing benefits of cultivating mindfulness.

With a skill set that extends across platforms, I’ve also created magazine-quality content for iconic and emerging brands, such as Hearst, Honda, Verizon, Target, and The Humane Company. I feel my strengths lie in my ability to adapt to any voice and tone, and in making complex topics more approachable and engaging to readers.

These days, you can find me on the North Fork of Long Island with my husband and our two standard poodles. Off the clock, I’m likely practicing yoga (I’m a certified instructor), taking a dance class, or planted on my sofa, where I watch a LOT of true crime TV.
